Hello and welcome to the new official United Gila River Fire Fighters web site. I hope it will move us forward and facilitate better communication between all of our members. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you, the membership for making our local successful. We have come a long way from our humble beginnings as a struggling local to today where we enjoy nearly 100% membership and have a great working relationship with management. We have a bright future ahead of us with the possibility of merging the community’s emergency services into one organization, to the building of 4 new fire stations bringing the total to 7. As a senior member of our department I am excited about our future while remembering our rich past. Let’s not forget those who helped pave the way for everything we enjoy today.
